Thanks for this hierarchy of needs of a website… it can clarify the mind of most people since some of them seem to prefer a great looking website which is confusing to the end user, rather than a more simple website that does what it must do

I likehis ideas, however sometimes it's not only the end user that must be pleased, but also the search engines. It depends on what kind of website you are building. The best thing should be to be able to have a website that's loved by the search engines and by the users, but sometimes you cannot have both.

Thanks to whoever went through the transcribing and tidied it up a bit & added the pictures (Ryan?). Makes it look a lot nicer than what I handed over. That'll teach me for taking on too much :)
