Another great online accounting tool is Kashoo. They have all the features you could ask for, and FreshBooks integration. Rad product. Worth a look! It's cheaper than xero!

At the risk of sounding like an out and out sycophant, Perch really is a case study for thinking about application design from the outside in. I'm sure there are many systems out there that do everything Perch does and more - what makes Perch such a success in my eyes is that (a) they were able to advertise and then demonstrate it's simplicity so well on their website (b) that it actually lives up to it's hype in terms of its simplicity and (c) that it evolves based on plain old CSS and HTML rather than relying on coding languages / protocols that require specialist knowledge.

It might be an unfashionable viewpoint, but I think there are a lot of people out there ( i was one ) who are really keen to look at CMS systems less in terms of something that you use to build your site, but more as something that can be easily integrated into a built site before launch.

I hope Perch continues to grow and get better and better - the more apps like this on the market the better I'd say. Well done to Drew and Rachel!
