I remember gary vaynerchuk's book which mentioned "Oppurtunity lies in Transparency" that by being real draws more people's interest on you...

"Don’t allow your copy to make you schizophrenic"--- I like the way Paul describes it this way.. it makes me chuckle a bit.. haha

Great article Paul, and one that has come at just the right time as we are just starting out on a redesign of our site.

Currently we are working with some big UK financial companies and have always thought the tone of our website should reflect the tone these companies use in their marketing material - mimicking the way they speak to appeal to them. But having read your article, it makes me realize even more that we should be reflecting our tone and who we are. Ultimately, our clients buy in to us and our personality, after all we are "made up of many individuals who all have an influence over the corporate culture."

Mine would be Osama Bin Laden because no one has seen it. My site hides in a cave (folders on hard drive).
