  • Liking GetSignoff, looks like something we could really use! I would love to know what it’s built on?

  • Paul Boag says:

Its built on .NET Richard… see not everything Microsoft do is evil :)

  • Looks very very good. Will get the pro version as soon as it gets out

  • Paul, given that I mainly develop in .NET I’ve known that for quite a while ;-) It does make a refreshing change to see a .NET web app in these days of Rails apps though!

  • Martin Bean says:

So will this application just be available from the website (getsignoff.com) rather than downloadable?

  • Looks fantastic, I’m very excited. Discounts for students? :D

  • Thaisie says:

looks great, i’m going to test it for sure..
But i’m just curious if you can categorise them for a client with many small projects.. like 20 projects for one client..

  • Paul Boag says:

@Russell… there is a free version for students. Is that cheap enough :)
@Thaisie… no there is no way to categories projects. However you could split a large client into several smaller ones.

  • Martijn v/d Ven says:

I see you too started using JavaScript for embedding flash on your site. Now I get the “get the Flash Player to see this player” message although I have the latest Flash 9, as I browse with JavaScript disabled.
If you really want to go this way, as many are doing already, please change your error message. Your visitors might just have JavaScript disabled and downloading & installing Flash whole over again (as I’ve done many times when I first saw these messages) doesn’t change that.
Other than that, great screencast again and I hope to see more about GetSignOff soon.

  • Paul Boag says:

@ Martijn fair comment. Consider it changed.

  • Clip says:

    Looks very very good.

  • Marie says:

Oooh, a free version for students… (ears pricked up!)
    Where might we find this?

  • Paul,
This site would look so much better if it were done with PHP… shame on you.

  • Paul Boag says:

@Marie… there will be a free account that EVERYBODY (including Students) can use. Basically it is like flickr, a free account and a pro account.

  • Dave Hall says:

Looks superb. Well done and looking forward to it.

  • Paul Randall says:

I’ve liked the look of GetSignOff since the start, but unfortunately this video isnt working on my machine at the moment. Is it on another site, such as Vimeo or Youtube?

  • Martin Bean says:

    @Douglas Brown:
I fail to see how the site would “look better” if it were built on PHP, when PHP is a server-side language. XHTML and CSS should be used for styling the “look” of a website!

  • Paul0r says:

    Looks simply amazing!
    Signed up to updates :D
    Literally cant wait!
