I’ve been wire framing today using Flash Catalyst. My early conclusion is that it’s just what I’ve been looking for. It’s simple first impressions are very deceptive as its true strength lies in its architecture, the way it allows you to build components and build multi-state objects within each other.

Not only has it already solved pretty much all of the problems I’ve been having with other tools just for simple wire framing, it’s also easier to use, more stable and faster. I haven’t even started playing with the animation tools yet, but being able to quickly and easily demonstrate ideas rather than trying to explain what would happen is a great benefit.  It’s got the weight of Adobe behind it, so I’m hoping for even greater developments in the future.
