Yahoo have launched a new live webcam broadcasting service that has some real potential.
Yahoo! Live enables you to quickly and easy start broadcasting live video streams. As you can see from the example below it is also incredibly easy to embed in your site. What is more they provide an API that allows for the creation of more sophisticated web applications. It will be interesting to see what people do with it.

Haha…Don’t you feel weird doing that?
Not only do i get to listen to you online, now i can stal… i mean watch you too.
haha, doesnt it feel weird knowing currently 14 people are watching your every move while you pretend to work :P
@Ryan… you might have viewed when I wasnt broadcasting :)
@Dinu… Yeah, I can tell this wont last for long. Nice experiment though. Might point it out the window instead.
I can see you watching yourself, that’s just weirder!
Any chance we’ll see the “Making of the Boagworld podcast”?
Hi Paul, I think Y!Live sucks to be host. The good think about uStream.tv Is that it is more flexable. The users work with the company to allow more flexibility, and more interaction on the stream and chats. Take live.pirillo.com for example.
What would be really interesting would be an easy way to switch from the webcam view to a screen cast view. You could quickly and easily do tutorials, display projects to clients, show stuff to friends in other parts of the world. Sort of like iChat, but you would go back and forth.
Paul I see you have Marcus Brigstocke working in your office now (http://www.marcusbrigstocke.com/)!
Wow, if I reduce the window size and put it in the corner of my screen, it’s like working alongside you… spooky, now I feel like I work at Headscape!
How did your Moo cards get on, btw?
