However, whilst I do enjoy coining new phases, I'll let you Google this one to find the real owner.

Cheers for the feedback guys!

@Rob - Good point on the cookies, probably forgot to mention them. They should definitely be treated like any other form of input, with suspicion! And then encrypt sensitive info etc.

Keep the developer questions coming :-)

Please can you cover accessibility in more depth?

OK, so it isn't a sexy topic, but it should be a central part of the web development process, even more so because it links so closely to usability and SEO.

Dev tips well presented but I want to extend what Dave has to say.

It's not just everything that goes in and everything that goes out, it's also everything that's stored on the browser. Cookies are used everywhere across the web (and are really cool). You need to treat it like an input and an output. As an input, you must validate anything from the Session like you would a form. If it is sensitive data, encrypt whatever you put in there so that people can't steal senstive stuff out of the browser.

Apart from that, Dave did a super job. More questions from Marcus and Paul would be good. Don't let him run on if you don't understand, stop him!

I think a better name for "sneeze pages" can be borrowed from music - "compilation pages".

Just like you get compilation albums that are "Ultimate 80s" or "Party Classics" or "Untouchable Rock Hits" - they're all editorially selected groupings of songs based around a theme.

So - Compilation pages.

I really enjoyed the developer section in this week's podcast. You should do that more often. I'd especially be interested in a topic focused on the use of database technology in web development.
