You know what... you guys are right. It was a stupid comment. When we are recording a show I get carried away sometimes in an attempt to keep it entertaining.

I have met the customers of WFF in various user testing sessions and they are some amazing people living in very difficult conditions.

Also I agree WFF offer an amazing service.

Anyway I apologise both to you and them.

Guys, yes I agree with Griff - one of my best friends is a customer of WFF. She's in her eighties, used to be a very active lady who enjoyed life and long walks and now is confined to her house.

She can't open the door, so the driver knows its open, stocks her freezer and is always polite and helpful. Very important if you're ill, haven't been able to dress yet and are trying to keep your dignity even in ill health.

WFF do a really important service - they give good meals with friendly, courteous customer service to people who have had their entire life curtailed by illness. I talked with my friend about WFF last time I saw her, and she was so happy with them, about how friendly and above all, courteous they were.

I know her health is very poor and I'm happy every time I get to see her because we both know, it could be the last. That's very hard to accept. It's tough, it's sad, it's part of life. But it shouldn't be a cheap joke on a podcast.

PS: On a lighter note - Did anybody else get reminded of Ratners? http://bit.ly/aSRcta Hope Boagworld doesn't end up like that though - apart from this one episode, I'm a big fan.

Hi Paul and the team.

Always enjoy hearing your podcast as I work away...

BUT, with regard to this podcast specifically... if I was a customer of Wiltshire Farm Foods, and of the demographic that is typical for that company AND I had heard your disgracefully rude comments, I would be REALLY PISSED off... Sorry, if this sounds abrupt, but if I were you i would listen to your own commentary, and you will hear what I mean.

You may have thought it was funny, but effectively, these are YOUR customers. You should show much more respect.

Regards,

Griff

PS. Other than the above, keep up the GREAT work... fantastic stuff!
