I know this is an old podcast, and an old blog post. Most of the data on "website design practices" mentioned above is dated 2002. There has not been any sort of update that I can see. Now if she went back to those same 315 websites and plotted the current results, that would be informative.

I think it was this podcast where you mentioned the use of 800x600 screen resolution. From the data we have usage in NZ is around 20.1% of users which is down from 29.8% from the year before. These figures are taken as an average of the top sites in NZ. So the numbers are dropping but there are still a lot of people using 800x600.

I just wanted to complain about the song playing in the back of the podacst show all the time (in the christmas episode)…
There should be something like “sound acessibility”… this song mixed with the talking is very confusing! Song and talking… their volumes were competing with each other… well, if only the song were very low…
