I fall into the &quot;Web Manager&quot; segment. About
 a year ago, I discovered your book &quot;Website Owner&#039;s Manual&quot;, don&#039;t even
 remember how I found out about it (although I think it was through an
Amazon Query).

I feel the book fills a gap in current literature. We
 are currently working on a new website for the city I work in, and we
were confronted with the same issues as the ones described in your book.
 Because of that, we could prevent certain problems were better armed
when problems did creep up. I did not do the &quot;stakeholder interviews&quot;,
seeing as the development was already quite a bit underway when I
started my job, and now actually regret not doing them after all.

As
 for myself, I did consider buying one of the videos or taking a
&#039;consultancy clinic&#039;. Some of the things we do are quite complex
(strategically speaking) and there are some decisions to make with
far-reaching impact. I feel like an expert third-party opinion could be
very valuable, so I actually did consider &#039;booking&#039; a session for 30-60
minutes.

I read this blog from time to time, to see if there are any interesting posts, particularly things that I can use myself in my daily work.

It&#039;s enormously interesting to see the principles in the book applied in real life, and I am going to check this blog on a regular basis, to see the next &quot;chapter/episode&quot; is out yet.]]></description>

One thing I always miss when we as designers/website owners talk about targeting an audience is what the tools are - aka what part of the website has the most impact on the &quot;audience&quot; you target. 

Most visitors nowadays come to a website through a search engine, and search engines look at the content - so the content is the main targeting mechanism. Therefore a task &quot;read news&quot; is not enough - you should imo include what news the target group wants to read.

I&#039;m sure you will then see that the different target audiences differ more than you expect.
