Glad to have you back guys - I've missed the podcasts! And don't worry - I'm a waffly format guy, good stuff :)

Apps-wise, my current mission is to get on top of the mountain of to-dos in front of me, so I've been looking around for a great project management app to help me. My main requirement is for it to be totally cross-platform - I need to be able to add tasks on my phone and have it reminding me to do things in the background on my PC.

My progress so far, through a bunch of totally useless apps to....

Basecamp: Good, but a bit too simple. Not enough power for task management, grouping of tasks, projects, etc. This surprised me given the amazing write-ups it always gets.

Trello: Great little app for organising projects, but falls down just a little on organisation. The cards get a bit complicated when it's a big project.

Podio: This looks like the one for me. They've just released an updated Android app, which brings it up to par with the iPhone, and it's amazing. The web app is super flexible - create your own Podio 'apps' which can record anything. Task management isn't quite perfect, but it's powerful enough for now, and they seem pretty receptive to new features and feedback so maybe I can help them develop it.

Anyway, hope that helps - I think it's a subject that comes up a lot, especially with freelancers, so worth telling the story! If you mention it on the Podcast, tell anyone to drop me a msg on twitter if they have any questions about how I use it.

Cheers guys, and keep up the good work. I've been listening since getting an episode or two for free on Web Designer mag, around episode 8, so, again, good to hear you back on air :)
