Thanks for signing up to the waiting list for my workshop on creating compelling landing pages.
With opportunities for group review work, one-to-one support and webinar-style teaching, I think this could prove the most useful workshop I have run to date.
What I am particularly excited about is the potential of this subject. My years of experience designing landing pages for the likes of PUMA, UNICEF and an enormous range of other clients, has taught me something exciting.
If you can demonstrate to clients that you have a robust process for creating compelling landing pages that convert, they fall over themselves to work with you. That means you can charge higher rates and in time will have the opportunity to work with better clients.
Best of all, they don’t dictate the design process, instead they value your expertise and listening to your recommendations.
Yes, this workshop will teach you how to create compelling landing pages that encourage users to take action. But that is not the real benefit.
What I am teaching you is how to improve your design process and present your work so that clients believe you are delivering better.
You see, you are probably already a great designer. Your problem is with the client interfering, failing to deliver quality copy or not investing enough. Am I right? If we want to create better landing pages, those are the problems we need to solve.
For years I worked on small scale websites for price-sensitive clients. Today I work on landing pages for international brands. I only started to make that transition when I stopped designing intuitively and started applying rigorous methodologies that I could explain to clients. I am confident you can make that same transition.
Yes, I know, you have a million questions. All of this sounds good in principle, but how will it work in practice? Well, in my next email I will address your questions and tell you a little bit about how exactly you can start improving your process and by extension landing pages.
In the meantime, please drop me a reply to this email. I would love to hear a bit about the biggest challenges you face, so I can make sure the workshop is as relevant as possible.
Speak to you soon.
