The past and future of web design

What were the early days of web design like? What about the future? How do you start out and stay up-to-date in such a rapidly evolving industry? These and other questions I explore in an interview with smashing Magazine.

While I was in Germany giving a workshop for Smashing Magazine I recorded an interview that has been published on their website.

In this interview (which is embedded below) we cover a range of subjects from the early days of the web to the far-flung future of web design. I also share some advice on starting out in web design and keeping up-to-date with the rapidly changing environment.

Finally, we discuss the role of responsive design and look at other game changing technologies that have emerged over the years.

If you have a moment check out the video and then share your thoughts on what we discuss in the comments below.

I would like to hear your thoughts on my recent interview with Smashing Magazine
