UX Review: Íslandsbanki Online Banking

As part of my first impressions series for Balsamiq I review Íslandsbanki Online Banking.

I have a lot to say about the website for Íslandsbanki, one of Iceland’s main banks. He addresses the flaw of promoting its brand over the services it offers and demonstrates how it violates some fundamental usability principles in favour of novelty. He concludes with some tips for improvement that don’t require a major overhaul.
